Flower Essences Used

Onion helps you cry if you need to, or quiet the tears if they’ve become overwhelming. It balances emotional expression so you don’t have to figure out whether you’re “doing it right.” It’s very important to grieve fully and completely, but we don’t want to be big wussies and cry all the time. Onion supports the full process of grieving—helping you access emotions, express them, and then move them out. It works both with present situations and with grief that has been bottled up from the past.

Chamomile is a super soother, especially for emotional distress that can show up in the stomach. Very comforting after crying.

Bleeding Heart is for heartbreak and codependency. It supports the release of painful emotional attachments and restores balance, helping you live and love with your whole heart, not from brokenness or neediness. A good essence to take when a relationship ends, whether by breakup, death, or a move.

Borage helps lift heavy hearts and encourages optimism, gladness, courage, and enthusiasm. It supports you through difficult situations and when you feel disheartened or discouraged. Borage also helps open the heart to greater levels of love and compassion.

Star of Bethlehem is the classic essence for shock. Whether old or new, it offers reassurance and eases the lingering impact of overwhelming experiences. Sometimes the death of a loved one is a shock, or the news of a terminal illness begins grief immediately—Star of Bethlehem helps bring comfort in those moments.

Catalpa is a deep heart comforter, supportive for both present wounding and old childhood pain that still lingers. Especially indicated for feelings of abandonment, betrayal, or being unloved. For children and adults going through divorce, separation, or the death of someone close, Catalpa reassures that they are worthy of love and that love is a force they can never truly be separated from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are flower essences?

Flower essences are energetic remedies made by capturing the vibrational imprint of a flower in water. They're designed to help shift emotional and mental patterns by interacting with the body’s energetic field.

Are they essential oils?

Nope—totally different category. Flower essences are made using only the blossoms of a plant and are considered energetic remedies. They contain no scent and are usually taken orally. Essential oils are aromatic extracts made from various parts of a plant and act through biochemical pathways.

Yes—our essences only contain the vibrational imprint of flowers, not any physical plant matter. However, droppers contain latex and we use brandy as a preservative—contact us if you need an alternative.
