  • Sadness
  • Weight gain associated with the above
  • Spiritual darkness

All the flowers in Liquid Sunshine:

St. John’s Wort has to do with light in every sense. We use this on people who are sensitive to light, who are afraid of the dark, and who are deprived of light such as in short season or northern climates, or graveyard workers. Saint John's not only deals with external physical light, but brings light inward, illuminating your soul. St John's Wort in its herbal form has been off limits to people on medications, but in its essence form it is safe.

Fleabane is for those who suffer from depression and negative thought patterns. It uplifts and brings clarity, lightness, openness, cheerfulness, and a positive desire toward change. It is similar to Yarrow because it helps “seal” us up where we’ve been too porous and vulnerable, but its action is more on the protection against the undertow of sadness, pessimism and hopelessness. Fleabane is a plant more adept at photosynthesis for extended seasons. For that reason, it may help us take in more light, and may help with seasonal depression.

Bee Balm sparks energy within us to reinvigorate our life. It kindles the passion that we need to pursue goals and follow through with projects. Bee Balm helps us find joy and inspiration in the day to day. It gives you something to look forward to while being able to relish the moment you’re in.

Coreopsis a flower that reduces cravings and combats addiction and depression. Coreopsis lends itself well to food issues such as craving excessive sugar and carbs. It also ups your sense of confidence, strengthens you, and helps you deal with stress.
Peppermint is a waker-upper and helps bring mental clarity to those who have trouble concentrating when tired. Helpful for the post-lunch slump, as well as shift work or winter blahs. Flower essences are not stimulants, so you can use it throughout the day.
Wild Rose essence helps with overcoming apathy, spurring motivation and providing energy to make life changes. If you’ve lost interest in pursing enjoyable activities, or do not know where to even find an activity that would be meaningful to you, Wild Rose can get you out of your rut. It helps you overcome apathetic “I-don’t-care-anymore” feelings and encourage you to show up for your life.
Chrysanthemum fosters a sense of positive, enduring energy throughout the day and helps to bring a better alignment of the spirit in relationship to body and soul. Typically, the spirit gets suppressed, and since it has a direct line to God, and wisdom for life and healing, it's to our body and soul's advantage for it to have a more prominent place in our lives.
